I’m a proud crazy cat lady, aspiring world traveler, and serial new-hobby-obtainer who LOVES the creativity in teaching. Somewhere between selling duct tape flowers and designing Neopets profiles, I discovered my love of design. Creating educational resources for teachers combines my love of design with my passion for helping others. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy improving my photography, finding local food gems, and finding new hobbies to hyper focus on.

My Mission
As someone who grew up not seeing her culture reflected anywhere in her school experience, I’m passionate about letting students show off their rich life experiences through music. I believe that students already come to us with a variety of musical and cultural backgrounds and are not just empty cups to be filled. I aim to create resources that allow for creativity, flexibility, and freedom of choice so that students can be most authentically themselves!

- I like taking my cats on walks in their cat stroller!
- I love baking! I've got too much experience to go on Nailed It, but not enough to be on Food Network. Darn.
- My goal is to one day be a polyglot. 2 languages down - working on my 3rd!
- One of my biggest goals in life is to travel the world.
